What is TNR?
Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is the only humane and effective method for stabilizing and reducing community cat populations. Cats are humanely trapped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, ear-tipped for identification, and returned to their outdoor homes.
Community cats are humanely trapped by volunteers or residents.
Trap
Cats receive spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and an ear-tip.
Neuter
Cats are returned to their exact outdoor location to live out their lives.
Return
*We issue up to 5 TNR vouchers per household to residents of our service areas. Vouchers are available from our lobby staff and can be redeemed at Ontario Spay and Neuter, details are printed on the voucher. Traps are also available to borrow for a 2-week loan period.
