By the Numbers
A look at ARC's impact, told through the animals we've served and the communities we serve alongside.
Year One
On July 1, 2025, the Animal Resource Center of the Inland Empire opened its doors as a full-service animal control and sheltering agency for Chino, Montclair, Ontario, and unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County. One year later, here's what that first year looked like.
1,722
animals adopted into new homes across all species.
899
dogs adopted, with 656 reunited with their owners.
749
cats adopted, with 39 reunited with their owners and 76 returned to field through trap-neuter-return.
38
small mammals and 11 birds adopted.
254
animals currently in foster care, supported by our growing network of foster families.
~5,500
animals came through our doors (live intakes, all species)
~16,000
calls for service answered across our five member jurisdictions.
Looking Ahead
These numbers represent one year of building a shared regional resource from the ground up — a full-service shelter and animal control agency serving five communities together. ARC will continue reporting on this progress as we grow.
Data reflects the period of July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026, based on ARC's shelter and field activity records.
